GX200 wont start

I acquired this engine few years back and finally got around to wanting to do something with it. I knew it did not start up before but since I wasn't going to be using it I let it sit for a while.
Now recently I've been trying to start up this motor and had no luck.

Things I've done to it.

Cleaned Carb
Replaced spark plug (NGK BP6ES .040) (There is spark btw)
Changed oil

Unscrew the spark plug, and pour a teaspoon of fresh fuel in. Reinstall the plug and wire, and attempt to start. Any pops, hits, or even a second or so of running all indicate a fuelling issue. Inlet screen, line or petcock may be clogged, inlet needle may be stuck closed, carb may not be as clean as you think. Be sure to use fresh fuel, and reports the results here.

Tried the gas by removing spark plug and was a no go.
I also went ahead and ordered a new carb from ebay just in case

{EDIT} nevermind, missed the part about there being spark.

{EDIT 2} You sure there is spark? Can you see it?

Definitely a spark, ground it it to the exhaust and had someone pull it and saw the spark and also accidentally grounded it to my hand and got shocked lol

EDIT: I disconnected the oil sensor and felt like it wanted to start then nothing....

Try another plug. Occasionally, a plug won't fire under compression. It's also possible that the spark is not hot enough. It should be blue, not yellow or orange.

^^I thought it was suppose to be a blue spark, but I wasnt sure. So I kept my mouth shut haha.

Its a brand new plug... should I still replace it? And yes it was a bluish spark

You can try, but it's probably okay as is.

Have you checked the timing key?

Sorry for the late responce. Finally had the flywheel pulled off and timing key was in perfect shape. What I ended up doing was opening the cover of the engine. Governor plastic had broke inside. I went ahead and did the low oil and governor removal. I'm currently adjusting the rocker arms and also found that the push rods were slightly bent so I went ahead and straightened them out (going to order new ones though as this was a temp fix). Now, my question is do the push rods just drop in from the OHV side??? fairly new to this fun stuff...

Now to get my other gx200 and gx390 running..lol

That was fast!! A bit late now, but the pushrods do just drop in from the OHV side.

Thanks again! I was able to find a video on youtube and noticed the rods were dropped in...Hopefully, this thread will help someone down the line
