Thinking of buying this to put my un governed gx200 on? any advice? i was thinking of fitting the sprocket to the wheel? i have had a 80cc bike for some time but it was gutless so i think this should do the buisness
GX200 on a tricycle will be INSANE! Especially ungoverned! w00t!
I built a tricycle for a friend, using a blue 6.5HP clone, with 20" plastic BMX wheels, It went only 35mph, and it would spin the left drive wheel easily, and if you didn't lean forward on the handlebars, it would lift the front up! VERY scary and fun. For an overpowered tricycle, GX200 is a real winner. Lots of torque!
FYI, I used a jackshaft with a 12T #35 chain clutch, and a 72T sprocket on the jackshaft, and then #40 chain 18T from jackshaft, and 24T on axle. Geared very low, and lots of torque, and the clutch ran cool. The 16T pedal freewheel goes on the right side of the axle area for sprockets, and the 24T drive sprocket goes on the left side.
Have fun with your build decisions, and be sure to post when you build your GX200 trike!
