GX200 Throttle shaft replacement part question

I have a GX200 engine on which the throttle shaft snapped. I bought a replacement but it doesn't fit. The original has 3 holes in the plate and uses 2 screws to attach to the shaft. It has the number RX140 on the plate. The replacement I bought has the number 130 on the plate. There is only one hole on the plate and uses only one screw to attach to the shaft. Again, the replacement doesn't fit. Just slightly too big. Can anyone help me find the correct replacement throttle shaft? Thanks

He's talking about the shaft that has the butterfly plate attached to...

I think it depends on what carb manufacture it is...
If I were trying to fix that... I'd just get a new carb...

If the flap is the same size as the old one...the center hole won't make a difference.

This is the replacement part. The shaft diameter is just slightly too large.

I don't see why a gx200 clone carb won't fit a gx200. I know its not a real clone, but I think it should fit.

How much did the replacement shaft cost, if you don't mind me asking??

brass can easily be machined down a hair (even with just some sanding)

And no. do not buy a replacement carb instead of the original one.
Reason is simple.. the original keihin is MUCH better than the chinese clone.
(the price difference is justified IMHO)

What does the broken part look like... Is it the plastic or the Shaft?
Maybe the replacement you got being too big is from a big block carb....

Ive have been told by some stuck-up honda dealers... that the serial number is required to get parts from the dealers... so maybe try that route and see what come of it?

The plastic broke. My fault as I tensioned the throttle cable with the foot pedal all the way back, so when he pushed forward, the forward play of the foot pedal went beyond the full rotation of the throttle shaft. I know this because we just did it again today. I had an unused Predator 212 6.5 and took the carb off of that one and put it on the kart. My son said it seemed slightly slower. As we were finishing up, the throttle shaft (plastic piece where you would thread the cable through) snapped, again. Good news is the replacement part I have will fit. I am having trouble getting the emulsion tube out, even with a screw driver pushing it down, though. Not sure if the original is a Keihin. It looks almost identical to the Predator. The differences are the throttle shaft, the original fuel line input bends to the right instead of up on the clone, and the original has some part that looks like in can be screwed and has a spring on it while the clone does not. Thanks for all your help.

The cable is supposed to be attached to the rod or linkage with the gov(if installed), and if not still used with the throttle lever... That is what limits travel, to the wot...

If you could post pics of exactly what you have and the other broken shafts?...
