GX200 Throttle Linkage

Well after countless man hours the new go karts almost done. Now Im just taking care of the last tid bits. I need a new throttle linkage. I had ordered one from affordablegokarts.com but I think theyve gone out of business. Anyone know of where I can either get a linkage or make one. Im trying to keep my stock gas tank.

Take a look at this. I found that using little tidbits and old springs I was able to rig up some sort of throttle control. Let us know how it goes. I didn't bother buying a kit but wouldn't blame you if you did. Is it the genuine honda motor? If it is it should have a place for you to put a cable into it already. If you go http://www.honda-engines.com/Engines_owners_manuals/ownersmanuals/gx200.htm and pick the first manual. Go to page 16, upper right hand corner it explains how to hook up the throttle to the stock genuine honda motors.Your local lawn mower shop should have the cable and stoppers you need.

Thanks anyways but they sent an email last night apologizing for the late order. They shipped it Monday and I got it today so I wont be needing this....well I take that back I haven't tried the linkage yet but if it works then i wont be needing this lol. No its no the geniuine, its a yellow clone. Not sure who exactly made it.
