I have a round slide 22mm for mine as well, although it's probably not going to stay carbureted.

Factory idle speed is listed as 1400rpm +200/-150 in the service manual I have.

That makes sense. I was worried I was going to have to do a lot more tuning with the carb. For some reason I was thinking I should be able to get around 1000. 1500 is easy and it sounded great there. Not sure how I can upload a video but I did get a video of it as well. Can’t wait to get the chain on and take it for a spin!

I'd say just set the idle where the engine is happy. Once you start modifying with cams/carb/porting, all bets are off and that's really all that works.
