yea, it won't be fast, you can bet on that. got 2 of my new tires, today, waitin on some freebie rear wheels, supposed to be new lookin wheels, with bad tires, just gotta wait a little, gonna order the front tires, wheels, hubs, and rear axle assembly. it's all coming from 1 place, so gotta save up for that one. i'm gonna have a few bucks tied up in this change over, but i think it will be worth it. i'll have a few more pics, soon.

got the mufflers on, now it's time to mount the pipe system, and i think we're gonna be ok on that. it don't sound as good, but it's toned down to better fit the effect, but you can bet if it was at a show, it would have the straight pipes.

Beautiful! Suggestions? Paint the engine cover louvers to match the body- right now, it looks like a furnace cold air return grate (which it probably is). Painting it will help blend it. Maybe find something a little cleaner to use for a back bumper, too?

Dangit, that's a nice toy!

supposed to have some t bar bumpers made for it, and i got a friend that used to do the bodies for rousch racing, and was gonna see if he couldn't fix that back. now that the exhaust goes on out from underneath it, i think it can be filled back in, my biggest deal is matching the paint. i thought about finding a black, plastic louver, for the time being, to get by. believe it or not, who ever had it put a house foundation vent there. that thing is awful, so you can believe i'm gonna do something pretty quick.

When you find a more permanent solution, I don't think it would look as good to paint it the same yellow. I like the silver, or maybe a black; it has a good contrast.

Having a contrasting colour on that louver will only look good if the louver looks good. And Crazy, I'm sure you'll agree that the particular louver they used looks like spit.

you're right, but replace the p with h, and you're on target, you should see this thing up close.

i'm gonna look at some different, black plastic ones, and provided i find a good looking one, heat it to conform to the curve of the lid, and reattach it. at least that will buy me some time, until i can get up with my body man

Yup. LOL. I use "spit" instead of s:censored:t, because it types just as easily, flows about the same, and gets the point across. And it's a bodily fluid, to boot! :D

I guess somebody felt the louver was necessary for cooling air, or something. The car looks great- but that louver makes it look like, I dunno- Charlize Theron with a big, nasty zit right in the middle of her forehead. :ack2:

that's what i did, plus, welded a tab on the bottom of the "T", so i could stabilize the assembly, and it seems to work great. once i get to start driving it some, depending on the charging issue, i may go back to straight pipes.
