guess I should of mounted that fire extinguisher after all

So I took my 100 dollar spiderbox out for the first ride lastnight and it ran like a champ so I decided to go to the beach for a little more fun. When I went to start it it back fired and next thing I knew it was on fire so now I have to pull the carb and clean all the sand out of it . oh well I guess it could have been worse.

yeah no other choice. but I cleaned it all up today and it "fired" right up

You want to check out why it caught on fire, was it spilt gas or something?

i had a fire with a kohler command with a sheared flywheel key, the air filter caught fire.

its near impossible to light a small engine on fire unless theres soemthing wrong with timing
