Hi. I am looking at the 1201 GTC jackshaft. I was wondering how you adjust the chain from the clutch to the sprocket since the holes do not appear slotted in the pictures?

I did fire off a few emails today but no luck on an answer. Is the chain not adjustable?

Link to J/S would help...

If this is the J/S kit I linked, it bolts to the engine; the engine should be bolted to a plate with slotted holes, which is how yo adjust the chain...

This will adjust the other, not mentioned, chain (from jackshaft to axle), but will not adjust the chain connecting the crankshaft to the jackshaft.

If you slide the engine forward in the engine mount plate's slotted holes, you also slide the jackshaft forward (as it is fixed to engine).

My nephew's Baja MB165 minibike has a tensioner on the jackshaft.

Exactly. I am thinking there is no adjustment, just however close you can make the chain.

Thanks for the responses
