grueling wait for parts

what do you guys do in your spare time when waiting for parts to show up?

clean the shop, work on something else or just do something totally different than mechanics to get your mind off it

or just keep pressing new posts on this site until something new comes up to read.

thats basically what ive been doing. had to order parts before mlk weekend even longer. but oh well going out with my gf tomorrow had a 66$ budget for that. i got no job and spent all my money on the parts

lol. my frame is already built just need the engine to make the mounting brackets

i try to leave the projects alone for the weekdays

u could probs find the dimensions for the engine on the web

so u can make the mounts now

I'm not good like that. I suck atstuff like that I need it right in front of me to do it. Also I have no job and nothing to do so I have all the time in the world

im using a lifan 125cc with a 22mm carb i got the carb today but not much use without the engine

Oh that would be hard to mount without the engine

yes yes it would. the engine should arrive tomorrow. its coming from cali and i live in washington state. the carb. was in florida and arrived before the engine. i find that odd. i thought the engine would come first

probably because the carb is smaller and easier to ship, but I guess you cant do much at all with out the engine.

this freaking week is hectic and cant get anything done thanks to the weather here in washington. all week long its been snowing and then freezing then snowing some more. wont be getting my engine anytime soon.
