Well. I broke down and bought a race frame from a guy at work for $20. It needs it all and some. Since I've gotten into karting ive wanted a real "racing go kart" but I can't really afford to fork out several hundred bucks at once for one. So, here I am buying part by part, learning, and customizing. Which I enjoy anyways. I have a manco dominator that I've put a predator 212 on with the intake, exhaust and carb jet kit that will go on to the race kart and I will put the robin subaru ex13 back on the manco for someone else to ride or whatever. (I don't have any kart friends) lol but here I will track my build as it comes along. Here it is for now.

As long as you enjoy turning left and only left, you ought to do well.

You're the proud new owner of an offset chassis.

Lol surely there will be a way to modify it to turn better to the right? I think the original owner raced dirt oval track. I just want it for a fun project... And if I just want a legit "race kart" to play with. But I'm going to try and have it sand blasted this week. I was to late calling them Friday so ill try for tomorrow.

I'd say just move forward with it and if it don't turn right as well as you'd like for it to, then you at least have a running riding kart to sell or trade to get what you want. I have an old non offset invader and I'm sure there are a lot of guys like me out there that would probably trade as the offset chassis would work better for racing. That's where I'm going with mine, but would like a later model offset to go racing with, but I'll use what I have since I already have it.

I'm not that picky and usually get a good feel for things fairly quick.. my current manco's one wheel drum band is terrible and everyone who rides it says it's to fast to have such bad brakes and I'm like ....i drive it just fine? Haha but yeah I'll continue on and learn it all as I go and see how she turns out! Lol
