greyhound 6.5hp engine any good

I bought a engine this evening to put on a go cart. can't get it to start already. Need info how to hook up throttle cable.

And yes, the greyhound is a Honda clone so they're just as good if not better then the hondas they're cloned after.

It's debatable as to whether the clones are as good as or better then a Honda. The chinese factories that produce the clones don't have to warranty them so there is no motivation for them to used the high quality materials that would insure a long lasting product. The Honda factory on the other hand has to stand behind their product and their reputation as a high quality manufacturer is on the line, so they do us the best materials. Having said that for a go-kart application I'd choose a clone because you could get three for the price of a Honda, but if it was for a piece of machinery that might mean the difference between life and death I'd go for the Honda.
