I recently picked up a Harbor Freight Greyhound 79cc 2.5 HP engine. Model is 152F.

It is installed in a gokart at the moment and when I make right turns it dies.

I am thinking it is the Low Oil Shutdown sensor causing this issue, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to bypass it on this engine?

I am not even sure where it is, I was thinking I could cut the wire and put a switch on it and turn it off and on, however I don't know which wire to cut.

I can get a picture up if need be.

Look around low on the engine block, you'll see the sensor and wire that comes out. Unplug it and tape off the connectors. If the engine doesn't start, or if the kill switch doesn't work, you got the wrong one...

Front bottom of engine block (side facing the seat of your kart), you will have the red kill switch, then a black plastic snap cover over some wires, then below that there will be 1 yellow I think wire running to a brass circle looking thing on botton front of block. Thats the oil sensor. I just removed my wire the other day for same reason.

Un clamp and open up that black plastic box, and un plug the yellow wire going to senser (it will have a bullet end connetor on it), tape over the ends and your good to go.
