Hello All,
I've been to this forum many times...learning, researching, and smiling. You can't discount the enthusiasm I feel from the words of wisdom shared here, as gokarts arouse even the most common of man (and woman...).
But to the point
I've never owned a GoKart until a month ago when I bought a well used Manco Dingo for my 10 year old's birthday. I restored it to like new. Then came the Bristers "Thunder Kart"...which is going thru a frame down resto... and last Saturday, I bought a vintage Shaller SS98 concessions kart with the 9.0hp Honda. O M G ...its a thrill to ride, but weighs a T O N!!!
Anyway...I'll be posting soon about maybe trying to trim some weight off that Shaller kart. The spec's say she weighs 470 pounds!

Cheers!
