Young "old" fart
Saw that introduction was requested, so here goes..
Always wanted a go kart as a kid (what normal boy doesn't?), but made do with a homebuilt non-powered "coaster" (with questionable brakes) and the steep hill out in front of the house. Made for some interesting memories...and looking back, I wonder how I survived a few of those rides!
Now that I've got a kid of my own, I have the perfect excuse to get a go-kart and drive around the neighborhood with my daughter...and just picked up what I believe is a Carter 2336-ZXH. It needs some minor work, but being an engineer, and a former small engine mechanic... This is right up my alley!
Looking forward to reading everyone else's posts, posting a few of my own questions, and maybe even writing up a few of my efforts to make this go kart better...
