Hey all!!

Ive purchased a Carters go kart for my son about a year ago or so. It was in decent condition. I got it running by swapping the carbs out to an amazon one, Changed bent axel and started swapping out and adding parts and lights. So here i am. IMG_0721.jpg

Tell us more about yourself. Is the kart for you or a child or are you a child? We have a lot of children here trapped in adult bodies.... so

Adult child here(just enough to survive like an adult, and take care of my family), trapped in a mans body. Welcome to the site and madness! We love pic's, so more pic's after you start a thread in the Photo Gallery/Project log to document your work, ask lots of questions and post pic's! :welcome2:

Welcome. Kart looks pretty clean. Cover it or put it indoors when not in use. Especially when the weather gets ugly. Lets see the back. What do you have for an engine? Do you ride together with your son, or is he old enough to be turned loose on his own?

As much it may seem mundane to you, maybe you can do a reverse build/refurbish thread in the Go Kart or Project area and tell us what you did?
Or maybe just a parts list with links….🗒️ AND lots of photos.

There are many with the desire for this “small engine madness“ but being beginners, they don’t know where to start and it may feel overwhelming especially when it’s a used kart and everything is frozen, rusty or less than perfect.
