Granddaddy - seeking comments and advice

I just started my build of a Granddaddy kart. I've been searching this forum, but thought I'd just ask some questions instead of spending so much time searching! Here are my questions:

Where do you get the 1-2 TL bushings? Does someone have a part #/website?
Are there bushings that go inside, or simply bolts?
Does someone have detailed pics and info (part #s) of their rack and pinion steering setup?
Is there anything I should look out for with the plans - any mods I should make?

Make it longer it seems everyone has to, that is if you want to be comfortable when in it.

Yeah Id definitely have to agree with going longer. Looks like you'd almost be in fetal position and after you mount the steering wheel, well...it might hinder how you steer. Where were you thinking of mounting the engine? One of the only things I like about my YERF DOG 3203 is the carriage rear. It has just two bolts on hinges (also connected with the shocks) that allow the back end to become completely detached fairly easy. Makes it easy to work on and if it gets cold, I can roll just the rear part of the kart inside to work on it without having to move the whole thing. Just an idea.
