I built a granddaddy, 13hp HF engine, 40 series torque converter. I purchased a ATV transmission ME35P2 and would like to mount the driven pulley to the input shaft of transmission. Driven pulley has a keyway, input shaft of transmission is splined. I looked at buying the driven pulley for the ATV but belt size is 1 3/16" wide, and go kart belt is 7/8"

Any thoughts? Would be great for the kids to have reverse and neutral.

I did think about that, do you think the short chain length from jack shaft to input shaft of transmission would cause problems?

no, i did get go kart out of storage to put on new primary clutch that should fix engagement issues and plan to look at the transmission and see if i can relatively easily get it on the kart. we have just not worried about reverse since i posted this.
