Howdy folks, I was looking for a go kart for my grandson and found these yerf dogs. Watching craigslist they were selling like hot cakes with Christmas coming up. Anyway I finally was able to be the first caller and picked up complete unit that needed a bunch of maintance. After just cleaning the TC it's running pretty good but badly needs a belt. Here's my situation. Couple of days ago I picked up a 3202 complete frame and suspension. Missing engine and TC. I plan on putting the best stuff on one frame and complete that unit with a HF 212 and TC setup. Is there any difference in frames, one of them has a little different front end.

The running cart has a lot of repair/welding on the swing arm. The non running cart has grease fittings on the spindles. Other than that they are pretty much the same. I'm going to install a HF 212 and some kind of TC stock if I can find it without spending a fortune. I hoping this thread will help some others. I see a bunch of info on this engine swap but not a step by step to install the HF and configuring the TC and axle with some pictures. Sorry in advance if some of my questions are well known.

I have to get a jackshaft, missing. The axle under the running kart looks like it was removed at sometime probably when the swing arm was repaired. The NR kart is original. I think I need to remove the axle to move the drive sprocket for the HF motor. Is it best to find a yerf dog jackshaft or is there another jackshaft I could look for.
