Gp kart axle help

Need some advice with an axle that is for our go kart project we don't know what size nuts we need for the axle, we tried 3/4 nlyon nuts but they don't fit, the axle thread has 2 flat sides diameter which measured is 0.733 inches / 18.67mm the rest of the thread diameter measured is 0.750 inches / 19.27mm.

You tried 3/4" NC or NF?? Could be metric....

What is this from??

metric? 20mm nuts? or what u think size nuts? it was a spare axle with a go project we have everything else for the axle just don't know the right size for axle.

The 3/4 nylon nuts we brought were UNF the thread on the axle is fine not sure why isn't not working .

Id take it to the hardware store and try on a bunch of nuts to see what fits....

Off hand, Id dress the end a bit better, might have been just a buggered end thread...
