Hi i have a robin subaru ex27 engine and its missing the governor rod. engine runs great. whats the purpose of the governor rod? Do i need it?

The govenor rod connects carburerator to the govenor. The combination governs, or limits the engine speed to around 3600 RPM. If your engine is stock you should keep it.
The stock innarnds of an engine might not survive repeative excursions 5-6000 RPM.
if you decide to remove the gov, you should open up the engine and remove the internal parts. The inner parts could come apart and cause a catastrophic failure, if it were spun up too fast.

My wife babysat his kids many years ago. They would leave no cash and there was no food in the house. She had to use her own money to buy a pizza to feed her and the kids. They would return way later than what was agreed upon and didn't seem to care. No reimbursement for the food or an apology for being late.
She didn't keep that gig long.

No he was busy taking bribes and payoffs. And spending the money on bad wigs! Is he out of jail yet?
