Governer arm plug

Accidently removed the governer arm and somthing like a metal plug shaft thing dropped down into motor, ran motor without the arm and air and oil put out of it, can i just simply plug this hole?

i have the arm, so can i maybe get a pen magnet and raise the governer thing that dropped down in case and attach again?

maybe that may be a bit tricky to pull it up in the right oreintation though. easyet would be to drain oil and take side cover off

hypothetically if u took it out and got a tiny tach whats the max rpm a completely stock engine could handle., i. e. not having to get a billet rod and stuff

i dont know, my engine a robin subaru so i dont need to worry about billet rods but ontop of that i havent taken off my gov yet. my guess would be some where around 5000 but you woul have to be real careful

yea i get that, its got plenty of power at 3600 rpm
so im gunna reattach it, rather that than a rod inthe back

when you take the side cover off remember to drain the oil first, it sounds stiupid but trust me, it happens

haha i wouldnt be surprised some girl at my school thought u filled a civic with oil until it reached the top....holy **** how dumb can ppl be funny thing is thats a tru story

i havent done it myself but well lets say its hilarious to watch if you dont have to clean it up. by the way how did that civic work out lol
