I need to remove the govener on a 16 hp kohler i need to go in from the bottom and remove the cam but there is so much in there in affraid i wont get it together right. its got a balancing gear with a primary timing mark and a secondary timing mark. and the crank has a primary and secondary timing marks to. the cam has a timing mark aswell.can i take the cam out with out messing with the valves ?or can i bring it to tdc and take it apart that way will any thing fall out like the balencing gear?
