My new Tillotson block came in today. I’ve been on a waiting list for months, but it was worth the wait. This is a nice piece.
2.835 bore and factory reinforced. This one is going to go WOOPOW.

Cool...
Almost looks like a vert shaft block...
Has no tank mounts... What's up with that? Is this a custom casting??

It’s a new venture for tillotson. Rather than just pressure washer blocks, they’re making blocks specifically designed for racing. They have a ton of reinforced areas where the clone blocks were prone to break.

Well thats definitely different...Interesting...
Im pretty sure itll have a much better resistance to a case-head separation(lack of better word), should an occasion occur....

What kinda head does it use... a hemi or regular... custom???
Same deck height?

Normal deck height, normal clone bolt pattern on the head.
I’ve broken clone blocks, and that one of the reasons I’m excited about this one, also the stock 72mm bore is a real bonus.

It is nice looking for sure--beautiful casting, devoid of flash and other manufacturing blemishes and tool marks.

Thanks for the extra pics.

It is pretty amazing nowadays with foam core casting... the fit and finnish of the product.. the ability to get a pretty tight fitting part with out much/many post moulding operations... that is key...
As we can see they have done a great job with an updated performance block...
