So Friday, I ducked out of school early and went to the dreaded DMV. I passed my driving test on my first attempt and, to be modest, I parallel park like a champion. Too bad it's nearly useless in the suburbs. Lucky me got a car right away*(to be continued). I have to say that driving and having that independence is amazing. I had no clue how much I would love it.

Anyways, back to getting a car. I inherited the family's 2003 Honda CR-V. Now, for how I got it. It all started with my parents draining my life savings of about $7500 and paying off my mom's Acura MDX. Then, dad got a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant. So, I do get a car, but at a price. Fortunately, I think I got a deal because I checked values online and it's worth about $7000-9000 and ours is in great shape.

But, moral of the story, I got my license and a car and I absolutely love it. I wonder if having my license will pull any weight when I get stopped for go karting on the street this summer? (it's BOUND to happen!)

Yea, I wasn't totally thrilled but I didn't have an option. Plus, it is a well maintained Honda, so it's easily got another 100,000 miles in it. (We're looking at about 90,500 right now)

Take good care of it and it'll last longer than that.

It's about time... LOL.

Drive safe on the streets, because later you will realize how many times you could have been hurt or hurt someone else. Have fun off road...

Maintain your ride, check your oil...

I don't know how I'm going to get a car. I currently have no job (probably will get one), and like $600 bucks saved up. I need someone to cut me a HUGE deal.

$4.50! crap man!

There is a 4 cylinder Cummins that fits right in 70s Dodge trucks, 30 mile a gallon + veggie oil = pretty dang awesome!
The 4 cylinder can be made to make just as much power as the I6 Cummins, and can be found for cheaper too...
