Picked this baby up today.

I only paid 500 for it and another 20 bucks to a friend to transport it.

The guy was asking 1000 for it.

Oh. I don't know where you're from...but I sold a dingo over here (5 hp) for $550. Carts can be pretty pricey over here.

For about all of 20 seconds. Brakes need work. He said maybe new shoes. But no TC problems, tires are beefy, key start works, light works, suspension is solid, etc.

All in all very happy. Back to college in the am, so this one is going to have to wait until Thanksgiving break.

Nope, initial plan is to ride till she dies. I only decided to sell the last one because there was a few things that would be "unfixable". This one has all the right things in all the right places. Plus, the expression on my little cousin's face every time we ride it will be priceless.

If it has disc brakes, they probably just need adjustment. Lots of people don't know how to adjust them so they assume they're bad.

errr...don't know the technical name, but it's like the Dingo brake set up.

Those are called mechanical disc brakes. You're looking somewhere in the range of $15-$20 for new pads. I gotta agree with Fabroman, you stole this thing.
