Hello all,

I'm in the process of building a stretched Recluse cart from Spidercarts. I'm building it with my 11 and 12 year old nephews, but the frame is large enough so the adults can have a whirl too!

Anyway, while both boys are growing fast, I would prefer to have an adjustable bucket for them so they can get more comfy and be safer. I'm working on a simple adjustable steering column as well.

Since the bucket will be adjustable, I'd like something with a taller profile so their heads are better protected. Appreciate any thoughts about which bucket, and where I might find a good deal on them.

Thanks in advance!
Rick

Go to EBay. Look at all items listed for seller stevbmi. This is actually BMIkarts ebay account. They usually sell a high back bucket seat for $20-25. Unfortunately, after you buy it shipping is quite a bit and this seat will still run you $65 total. Still, thats not a terrible price. Something to consider. Or, you can also check out any dunebuggy site on the internet. They almost always sell some type of high back bucket. Here is a link to one I know of, http://www.chircoestore.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=64_330&products_id=2077 If this link doesn't work, just go to the main site, www.chircoestore.com you should be able to search for the seat. Enjoy.

Thanks T-Man and J.Bourne for the links. I got lucky and found a Cobra racing bucket locally for next to nothing. Fits in the frame pretty well - a couple of minor mods and she'll be rockin in no time.

I'll post pics when it's done. Thanks again - I'll keep those other sites bookmarked for future reference!
