I'm pretty much a newcomer to the field of minibikes, other than the one I built last month. I have a lot of fun on that bike, but I won't let my boys ride it because I'm pretty sure that would be a wipe-out waiting to happen.
My question is what's the best configuration for inexperienced kids to start with, generally speaking? Would my kids find taller tires easier to handle than little dinky ones? Is a front brake a disaster waiting to happen, like it is the first time you try using the front brake on your new bicycle? Should I look for wide tires?
Any other ideas?
