Well,

I got a pocket bike a while back and got it running perfect, and i mean mint. Its running really well, and i like it. Anyways i was offered a 250cc quad for it. the quad has a cracked hub and other than that its mint. im going by what he said i have not seen it yet.

Should i trade for the quad. its not a brand name, just one Chinese machine to another.

Any input?

check to see if you can even get a hub for it first, and check the motor/transmission on it.

just a quick look today, the wiring is a mess, but got it to crank all it needed was spark, but trying to figure out the "cut and paste" wiring is hassle. its a madcat and its 4 speed. As for the hub there is none at all (not keyed shaft)

I thought it was a straight trade? if you cant find a hub don't do it, you need the hub for it to work.

Well here's my opinion. Chinese quads are crap first of all and they are wicked hard to find parts for. The reliability on it is horrible. that being said, what kind of pocket bike do you have? I have an x19 lol

Do you have somewhere to ride it? From the pic it looks like the engines liquid cooled? I'd buy/trade it if you have somewhere to use it.

i would almost buy it to check the rest out and if it does turn to a complete crap pile part the thing out on ebay and make some more cash.
