So gawking at some online adds and found this...

For Sale: I have a 340cc snowmobile motor mounted on a pretty nice gocart frame. All it needs is a few minor things and it will be ready to ride. It needs a chain, the throttle needs hooked up to the pettal, and the carbs could use a rebuild, and maybe a couple of other odds and ends. Its hard to stat right now because of the carbs but its a cheap easy fix. I'm going to post a pic later today. $175 obo. no trades.

What kind of questions should I ask bout it?
Thanks.

When was the last time it was driven, and more pictures. 175 seems like a good deal just in parts. But you never know what the internals look like.

Seller mentions a "few minor things", "easy fixes" and "odds and ends".
Be very wary and get specifics.
A few simple repair$ can add up real fast.
It's not even a gokart.
Offer half.

Yeah, I've had some firends buy some different things like quads or snowmobiles that the seller said needed "a couple things done" and turned into huge money pits! Also, the seller says that it needs a chain and the throttle needs to be hooked up, which makes me wonder if there has been some backyard mechanic work done to it. No that this is always bad, but if an unexperienced person is doing it, it will cause you trouble in the future.
