:wai:
i'm 16 and i live in the south west in Devon I've just started having interest in motor and go karts and would like to learn more and also race them.
If you have any tips about welding or know any places near devon where people race go karts i would love to know!

Usually, people tell a little bit about themselves in this section.

Is that too much trouble?

Yes, we have members from all over the world.

yepp..
it's the "introduce YOURSELF" forum..

And while the question as such is perfectly fine to ask, it should not be left without keeping the forum topic in mind ;)

Soo, hit that edit button, and add some info about yourself!

You were right, Alex, still...this is a forum. Capitalization and punctuation are appreciated.

(You're not texting your mate here.) At 16, you should be able to form a proper sentence. Not doing so is just a sign of laziness.

Hi noobguy..

as you can tell, you already met the local grumpy old men :D

Don't be intimidated, they mean well almost all the time!
And if they don't, the superior grumpiness of my broom will bristle their mouths straight :D

Now, you'll find that the easier you make it for us to help,
the more likely it is to get a quick and good response.

If people get the wrong idea about you (being too lazy, being too stupid, being overall unpleasant to converse with)
they'll just ignore you and your requests mostly.

And that's when "making the efort" comes in,
a properly placed post (correct forum, decent spelling etc...)
helps alot.

I know I know, especially for those that visit with a phone, it's annyoing as frick to capitalize or use punctuation etc.
I don't bother myself when texting tbh.
BUT if you ask somone to take the effort to explain something to you,
or search something for you or whatever..
at least TRY to put as much effort into the question just to show it's worth answering it ;)

That's what Nosandwich was trying to say (well trying not to yell rather ;))

Take it as what it is: A suggestion, not more not less.

Now, welcome aboard,
maybe take a good look around to see what you can find about welding and so on,
there's some solid information out there already
