Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a good, common, full suspension go kart? Good and common will make it easy for parts, and plenty of knowledge out there...full suspension would be a nice touch.

Anything?

Yerf Dog and Manco both have some cool full suspension karts. Check CL and let us know what you find.

I've found a yerf dog 32001 but that's been pretty much the only reasonable thing out there so far.

any suggestions on specific ones that I should look up?

Yerf Dog is out of business. BMI Karts bought alot of their old stock so there is a chance you can find parts there. Just keep that in mind. Most of the full suspension karts that don't have the atv style motors are pretty gutless and so they benefit from putting the "big blocks" on like a 16hp Clone or a 10hp Tecumseh etc.. but with the correct torque convertor you are looking at another $300 for the swap plus the motor.

God I sound like a Honda salesmen. Lol

Have you considered a Honda FL350 Odyssey? They are fast, relitively cheap, safe, fully suspended, and very well documented.
Reliability? It's a Honda. Need I say more. I've yet to see a cart/buggy that can match the performance and features for the price. Not even close to be honest. The chuggys all come with anemic engines(5-6.5hp thank god, the cage isnt safe for much more if that) These are almost 30hp in stock form and can be modified to make close to double that. And it's a 2 stroke! Mines about peaked in the 60hp range. You grab a hand full and it'll make the hair on the back of your neck stand up! Nothin like a big 2 stroke on the pipe.

Here's years of info on them. MESSAGE BOARD is the forum.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm located in near Hartford CT.

Guess I should have said that my budget is about 500. I've tried for the Honda's...nothing on the CL radar yet.

I've owned a yerfdog 3200. It doesn't hold up to the abuse. I fixed that thing after every outing. Especially the front suspension. I rolled that kart so many times. The cage held up but bent all the time. The bolts are weak on Chinese karts. In all, for 500$ I'd hold out for a Honda oddy. Best kart ever made.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I'm not planning on doing anything too crazy, but I'd like a comfortable ride.
