Hello Friends! I’m Ric from Los Angeles, Ca. Usually drumming away in my studio, but this spring, my nephew asked me to build him something the kid inside me always wanted; A Go Kart. I nearly cried with joy. Anyhow, a couple of months later, here We are. Thanks for having me!
As far as the build, I got inspired by an old rusted out Radio Flyer Wagon I found in a ranch outside L.A. Found a 3 HP Briggs Engine off an old McClain edger at a flea market along with some parts. The two were destined to meet. I’ve pretty much got a rolling chassis built, and the engine running. Just need to put the two together. I’ll keep you guys posted, might need some help, any and all ideas are welcomed!
