Subaru Robin 5.0 HP, like Denny said. Plainly obvious from the labels. As to which model exactly, by type code or model number, not sure. A Subaru Robin is one of the most premium engines ever placed on a kart. It has a super premium overhead cam and not the old fashioned pushrods to operate the valves....

but its engine has a sound like a putputputput sound

Well, it’s supposed to go put-put-put seeing how it is a single cylinder engine. It starts, runs and moves the kart like it should? Could the muffler be clogged? Idle too low? I need more information.

No suspension? No problem! Just lower the tire pressure a little and hold on for the bouncy ride. Instant “suspension"

Every time you get a strange, new-to-you engine it’s always a good policy to change the oil unless of course it was changed prior to the sale by the previous owner and it is absolutely fresh. Oil gets brown or maple syrup colored fairly quickly, even in an automobile, so don’t change it by color, change it by miles or hours.

Does it sound as crappy as this one?
