Manco made them for Sears & Rodbuck’s. The more I look at how simple it is the more I’m convinced.
Your right I googled it it looks a lot like the silver arrow cart but it has scrub brakes

🚨NECRO-POST! 🚨

It is a Manco model 400 but could have had any kart name (like Quicksilver III), according to the manufacturer’s whim.

This version included a jackshaft assembly “speed reducer”:
The 400 was a very basic kart so the 5 HP on it is not original. According to these two manuals, they were 3 or 3.5 HP so that confirms it enough for me. Nothing wrong with those engines, you could still have a lot of fun with one of those.

There was a Sears version called Silver Arrow which was a private-label product so the decals/graphics, name, paint and overall aesthetic was typically Sears-specified to set it apart from the more “pedestrian" Manco line. The photo in post #5 looks like it was borrowed from this thread (same tilted seat):

The person in the above thread describes a previous-owner-added jackshaft but it could have been the version with the speed reducer and he just didn’t know it.
