Gokart belt

Hi I'm new to the group. I recently bought a used Fox Vortex go-kart with a Subaru 169cc 6.5 hp motor. I'm looking for a belt. The one that came with is too big & slips when the motor is engaged. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

From what ive seen the standard 203589a belt should do.

Just to confirm, measure the distance from the center of the motor's shaft to the center
of the driven/ rear clutch shaft. If it measures 7in or 1/16 less, than the #203589a is for
sure what you need.

Here is an example, buy from whatever site you feel comfortable, but make sure it's
a genuine comet belt, well worth it.
