:smiley_omg: So, when do the wheelie bars go on? :lolgoku:

The first time my son got on it he stomped on the throttle and it went way up there.

The bottom/back part of the roll cage hits the ground once the kart front end gets high enough. I thought about getting some roller blade wheels or something and adding them right about there, one on each side.

I was also thinking about adding an additional axle bearing next to the axle sprocket. I found out that the axle is slightly out of round as well. Not a big deal right now. I will be ordering a bunch of stuff for that other kart that I picked up in the ice storm and will get that stuff then....

The biggest problem though is the throttle cable is too short so it goes under your right armpit. If you sit on the kart in the wrong way you are speeding off before your butt hits the seat!!!

You wanna get the fronts up about 6-8" to keep planted and be able to see.... lol.... You can dial in a straight line by playing, not necessarily equalling, tire pressures.... My son would LOVE to do that.....

I say go for a full dragster wheelie bar.. I'm sure your son would agree :D

Yea that was the conversation we had in the car on the way home tonight.

I'm thinking now that I will just make some little brackets and make the wheelie bars removable. I do like the way the kart looks without wheelie bars on it right now. I would like to take it off road too, that's what its meant for (in spite of its clearance issues).

... you could always make the wheely bars instead of removable... maybe, foldable... as in able to fold upwards outta the way for offroading...? justa idea.

Another Video, HD!

I have been playing around with my new camcorder. I'm not a big fan of the tripod and will get a new one.

Here is my first video I made with the camcorder (my daughter as the "stunt driver", and my 2 yr old daughter as the terrified running ear holder), and finally, a walk around of the kart at the end.

I plan on compiling a better video when my son drives it off road as he can get pretty crazy.
