Go Kart Tachometer

Can anyone tell me where I can get a cheap tachometer for my 4 cycle go kart engine (Robin Subaru EX27). I found a digital one on ebay for around $20 but do not know if its going to work. Also, what is the top RPM's I can get out of this engine without screwing it up?

I have the same tach, a little slow but good! About,the same as a Tiny Tach but much cheaper.

ooooo cooool. I think I know what I'm going to buy next. Can someone tell me were the wire goes on the engine though? or show me a thread that talks about it?

Wraps around plug wire one or two turns. No direct connection...works by induction.
