Go-Kart Swap Meet DFW

Anyone interested in participating in a go-kart swap meet if we were to put one together? It would be held in Keller, TX. There would also be an area next to us where you could test drive Karts if need be.

There would be space available if you wanted to set up a table to sell used parts or if you just wanted to bring your kart to show off.

Let us know what you think, we are looking at sometime this fall.

I'd be happy to help anyway I can. ......but I'm not sure what you want. ...or when/ where / or if this going to happen. ..

The thread comes on as a feeler.....to test the waters ......on possible participation numbers. .......

Well that's Ok.... but this is a poor indicator. ...of the DFW market. .........considering there are 4 members here (at least) that could get hit by rocks if we tee'd each other off.....there's sure to be a market here....but this may not be the best place to look for it.......

This could be something big.....I mean really .....what did they do at the Dallas comcon????? 50, 000???.?

I can give you some ideas.......and a lot of help.....but the DFW KartCon 2014..sponsored by GoPowerSports.com.......has to have a little bit of stated commitment and foundation......before we can sell spots....or collar sponsors, vendors, or entertainment. .....

I could bring my H3 and my 2 tiny karts...... And do a live 212 hop up "how to".......

To Gopowersports.....fliers at the gokart track was one of my ideas....also... the nearby flea market. ...Swap meets like Pate.....First Monday in Weatherford......and of course. ....Texas Motor Speedway....

A little stack of fliers in all the Autozones and O'Reilly's......

Of course. .....Craigslist......

Let's see. .....did I miss anything. ....oh yeah. ....you can get one of those sandwich poster board deals......and have Dennis walk up and down 377...... You could get a gorilla suit and a twirly sign.....but people would recognise Dennis right off.....and it's not safe to have him throwing things around like that.........

I stopped by the store today and talked with David about said swap meet. We discussed some time after the Southwest swap meet in Decatur (Sept. 12-14) I will be set up there anyway promoting Go-Kart Alley and would gladly hand out flyers, but not in a gorilla suit. Lots of go-kart and minibike people at swap meets especially Decatur and my display is sure to draw them in


I know a few through the HAMB too. Need to include mini-bikes in the adverts. Minibike folks are a wierd breed used to spending twice as much on half as many wheels

OK here is what we are going with for now.

GoPowerSports.com is hosting its First Annual Go-Kart and Mini Bike Swap Meet and Open House in Keller, Texas on Saturday, October 11, 2014, 9am to 2pm.

Bring out all your go-kart parts, mini bikes and accessories that you are needing to swap or sell. We will have all sorts of bargain closeout parts and used go-karts as well.

Also the national sells rep for TrailMaster Go-Karts will be here to answer any questions you have on all their off road go-karts.

Space is Free for you to set up to sell your parts but it is limited. Please RSVP and let us know how much space you would need.

More details to come as we get closer to the date.
