hey guys, ive almost got my steering system complete, i just have to weld on my front axles for the wheels. i was just wondering how critical the 15 degree toe-in is on the spindles. any help or advise would be great.

15 degree toe in is way to much. Toe in should be more like 1*. By chance are you getting your steering vocabulary mixed up?

uhm possibly im talking about the angle between the axle and the spindle arm, someone said it should be a 105* angle

Perhaps Bennet is talking about Kingpin Inclination. I know a few builders who use a 15 degree angle for that, but as I understand it the point is to achieve 'center point steering'. The angle is figured out so that a straight line through the kingpin hits the ground directly in the center of the tire's contact patch. You have to take into acount the diameter of the tire and the distance from the kingpin to the hub.

Yep. 10-15* is usually in the ballpark, though. For further info, please refer to the abovementioned thread.
