I currently want to get into Go Karting and to race other people. Is it worth for a 13 year old too get a go kart and race? I only Drove a Go Kart on a track 2 times and i was pretty good, yea i know its nothing like racing but i was pretty good i was really good at corners and stuff. Should i go to a go kart track and start racing there, when im pretty good i go get a go kart? I would get a USED one, but for a 13 year old the max $$ i can use is about $800. Is it worth it because i REALLY want to get into it. THANKS

If you wana get into it and you wana do it and wont quit after a while go for it bud. ive always been into racing so im starting lawn mower racing and most sprint car drivers and indy car drivers started in racing karts.

GO FOR IT! I am 19 and wish i had started at your age. My grandfather raced cars and i have always been into going fast. Recently ive been working on racing a spec miata, havent yet though. Go karting is a great introduction into racing. That could end up being a fun carreer or just a good hobby.
