I am confused on how things are set. What are the different types of on road racing and what different size engines are used in each? I am new and dont know where else to ask
But your local track might have diferent rules/classes. I've raced karts and I'll help all I can, but first I need to know what track you wanna race at? (maybe they have a website with they're rules/classes posted)
If you also post your age, and some info/pics of your kart and engine, It'll help me figure out what class you'd be allowed to race in.
Well i havent built it yet but ive ridden shifter and spec karts before at a track and im gonna build it with a full size frame and suzuki lt230 quadsport 4 stroke engine
Im 15
I don't know where you are from but if you plan on racing your first priority is to go to a local track and see what is racing there. Building something and showing up for a race is not going to work. If you are planning on building your own chassis there are technical specs to deal with.If you are planning on racing on a very low budget you are fooling yourself.
