Go kart question

Hey I'm thinking about buying this cart today for 400$ it has working lights, torque converter, and it runs. It has a 6.5 hp motor(not sure brand) and I'm not sure what brand the kart is. Can anybody tell me if it's worth it and anybody know what brand it is?He said that it says quicksilver gold line on the kart

Thats a tecumseh enduro ohv engine.

I live in the NE Ohio area... and that looks about the going price. I've seen them go for more.... but its not uncommon to see them sell for $400 either. The main thing I would look at is how well the TC and engine work. That looks like a Tecumseh engine to me, and I'm pretty sure they stopped making them a few years back, but they are not hard to come by either. I have a Tecumseh 6hp on my mini bike, and other than not liking to start in cold weather, its been a good motor for me. If the TC is a true comet, those too can be rather pricey if you need to buy a new one.

My assessment.... if it runs good.... I'd say $400 is a decent price.

The guy told me that it starts up perfectly everytime. He also said that if it goes any faste it will need weights in the front lol o.0

IMHO, that seems like a really good price for what it is (whatever it is lol).

Where I'm from, you wouldn't get that for under $1k

Go & get it before someone else does...
