Go kart problems

HI i am Omar and i bought this go kart from a freind.. ive had lots of go karts but i usually have brand new engines so there are no problems..

I have a yerf dog 3200 with 6hp tecumseh and it has problems..
1. The accelerator only goes halfway when you step on the gas all the way
2. I have to keep pushing gas to the carb like 10-20 times
3. When you step on the gas all the way it doesnt accelerate until like 5 seconds and its slow (I had a 5hp on one of my karts before and it hauled a@$)sometimes when you are going fast and let off the gas it turns off

Can someone please help with this

Give the carb a good clean, will make for better fuel flow, make sure fuel pipes are in good condition.

Thanks i will try that..do u happen to know where the fuel pipes are..also under the engine it is very greasy and looks like oil

when i was driving it today it just stopped and wouldnt go..i was pressing the gas all the way and it would just go 1mph but the shaft that the clutch was on was moving
