Hi guys, i have a go kart that used to have break and gas on the steering. i recently bought pedals and a new master for the breaks just hope it works i'll post the pic of the parts. If anyone can post pic of their setup i just wonder how it looks and what parts i may need. i decided to go with this pump sense it did not have a line for the dot 3-4 container. I still wonder if it works upon pull or push no one was able to give me a firm answer. i'll post a pic of my previous set up hope everything is compatible

Correct letters, incorrect order, you're referring to the brake, not break ;)

Have a look at my brake setup; remember that the brake lever fits a 7/8" tube, not 1" (I found out the hard way... as you will see)...

If you really prefer to run the read master cylinder, you will need to:
1. source an appropriate hose
2. mount the MC so the rod points towards the rear of the kart
3. create a rod to run from the pedal to the MC; a cable will ony skew the activation rod on the MC

As for a fluid reservoir (container) They're integrated into both the pictured MCs...

See point #3

3. create a rod to run from the pedal to the MC

My idea of DIY is I make the parts I need or modify something close; if you have a look through my entire build thread, you will notice the only parts I bought were parts that needed to be bought, not made...

got all the parts except for the pedals, the master worked upon push not pull and that wasn't a big deal the problem was that the tube that pumps would move to the sides, tried mounting a bolt to make it stable but nothing:mad: i requested an exchange for the set i had before. i'll probably get a set of brakes for go kart they are $150 but later on for now im broke:roflol:
