Go kart Nearly Finished

Hi people

This is the go kart Ive been working on for over a month now, For my boys.
built from scratch. Being in the steel industry, All the steel was obtained from work.

20ml Gal rhs (Frame)
25 od pipe & 15 od pipe & 20ml round bar (Steering assembly)
75*40 PFC (Axle bracket)


The motor is a honda gx 160, 68t sprocket, 12t Maxtorque Clutch

Looks good, might need some angle to the seat back for comfort.

The welds are going to brake on the engine mount.

Hey Jay, those race kart steering wheels are usualy mounted so the flat spot is pointing upward. You'll probably find you'll not only get a better grip but it would also give you a handy reference point to your wheels pointing forward to help regain control during a spin out.

Really? In cars the flat spot is meant to go at the bottom to give u more room...

The flat spot at the top also lets you see your tach/temp gauge better too,

I will be installing a ksi brake caliper this week
