Go Kart keeps going through Bearings

Help! My Go Kart keeps going through bearings like nobody's business. Just pulled out my wheels today, and the found that the race has cracked in half. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks

Is there a spacer (tube) on the axle between the bearings? If not, tightening the nut will force the balls in the bearing to run on the sides of the races and overheat/ overstress the races. There should be a spacer between the inner and outer bearings in your wheels.

there is not, that could be what is happening. But upon further inspection I noticed that the axel was bent about 1 degree or so, (it's a one wheel drive) so that could also be the case. I will attempt to straighten it and run a new set of bearings, if that doesn't work, then I will acquire a set of spacers. Thank you

If you don't have spacers inside you will ruin bearing. Why buy multiple times. Fix the issue first.

And yeah. Post pics. We like to see what everyone has.

If it is not bent so bad that a tubing spacer won't slide over it, do not bother trying to straighten it. A slight bend is not the problem.
The bearings can not take the side thrust from the nut holding the wheel on.
Get spacers.
