Go kart jerks/ jumps when accelerating

My manco go kart jumps when I accelerate. I know its from my torque converter. Ive went threw several belts trying to find the right one but in conclusion they all jump or jerk my go cart. Its there something wrong with my torque converter, do I have to lube something?

Try moving the motor to give it more or less slack in the belt, maybe that's the issue?

If he has a TAV fitted, that is a pointless suggestion as the driven will move with the engine

I was having the same problem and I took apart and cleaned the driver unit, along with getting the right size belt and it made a huge difference.

You need the correct belt for the TC you have. Are you sure you have been using the right one?

Moving the engine is also not practical. If you don't have a backing plate, you will just be creating more problems by moving the engine
