Go kart gear ratio

I have a yerfdog 2 seater go kart with a predator engine and a 30 series torque covertor. Well i just have a quick question. My tires are 18" My rear sprocket is i believa 60 tooth sprocket and the one on the torque convertor is a 10 tooth sprocket. Will that burn up belts faster. Is that a good gear ratio? What will that give me good acceleration or good top speed. Thank you

Sounds about average. 6:1 is reccomended for general use, and with 18" tires the 30 series TC makes them possible.
Your kart will probably have better top Speed than acceleration

I would probably get a 72 tooth sprocket imo

72 tooth sprocket for 420 chain is way to expensive

I use a 12/72 and Cent Clutch on 15" tires. So with your 18" tires and 30 series TC I think you will be ok. At least worth a try, if the 72 tooth is so expensive.
