Go kart for up north??? Snow scooter

Any one ever think about doing something like a snow scooter?
I have a 16 hp two stroke v twin out of a Johnson snowmobile , a track, bogies, and skis of the same thing.
I was thinking about using the motor for a normal kart for my Granddaughters but they don't want anything to do with it.
So then I thought what if???
I got the sled to harvest the drive system off it for a mini air boat i'm making with a VW bug motor.

I think a small snow scooter , something I could put in the back of the Suburban and use as a stand up jet ski thing for hunting coyotes in the winter.
I'd cut the track down shorter and somehow make it narrower , drive it from the back and have one ski in front. Stand up and steer it with handlebars like a kids scooter.
Run it out to where I want to set up and just lay it over in the snow, or hide it in a ditch.

What do you think ?

What difference would it make where I'm located ?
A snow scooter would run on snow any place there is snow or sand .

I have seen s coupke. They are old school but were pretty neat. Maybe not exactly what your thinking of if you ride it like a jetski but close, considering they had a narrow track and front ski. They have newer versions also, both gas and electric powered. I'm sure you can get some ideas with a quick google search.
