I got my gx200 engine back running it has a new carb and new gasket. Everytime I turn it on I need to open the throttle all the way and when I let it go it cuts off I already tried adjusting the screw for throttle but the wheels spin at full speed.

Thanks in advance

On the side of the carb, or bottom of the bowl there should be an adjustment screw. Strait from the factory they come all the way in, which runs extremely lean. Try to find the screw, should use a flat head, and back it out in 1/4 turns until it runs as desired.

If you can't find the screw post a bunch of pictures and I'll point it out, if it has one. Please also fill in a profile location.

That would be the one....back it out a few turns try it...

How fresh is the gas? How new is the Sparkplug? Is it gapped correctly? could all be problems although it sounds more or less like a fuel delivery problem...

Gas pretty new the spark plug is fairly new maybe 2 months old I currently have a pulse pump set up I see the gas flowing. After adjusting the screw sometimes it will run a little longer but it still cuts off

Might not have enough gas in the bowl. Try to pull lightly on the starter to get gas going into the carb basically priming it. After a few pulls actually try to start it. Adjust the screw a few turns out if needed

Sounds like you're messing with the idle when the problem may be in the low speed circuit.
Some of the screws that control that are non adjustable, you may need to replace it with one that is.

I have a bigger jet installed currently. I still have my original carb anything I can use from there to fix this problem?

So I replaces the low idle from my old one into the new one. The new one has a gold thing on the bottom the old one didn't what is that? I'm guessing that's what is stopping it from working right

What I call the lo speed circuit is adjusted by the pilot screw.
Most of these are designed that the head of the adjustment screw breaks off after the initial adjustment, if that's the case you'll need to remove the old one (using a piece of plastic tube to grip what's left usually works, I used a skinny nosed pair of pliers) and replacing it with one with a slotted end.

You know the black screw that u can screw in and out to adjust idle, under that is a black plug on the new carb I bought it has some gold thing installed and on my old one it didn't. so I swapped them out and it stayed running. You could probably remove the gold part and it would work I didn't try to though since I had one a spare one

I can't tell from the tiny screen on my phone but from the pic and your description it sounds like you replaced the pilot jet.
